Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming OC 24GB GPU

So I upgraded from a ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3090 Trinity to Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 GAMING OC 24GB during RTX 4090 release last October 13, 2022.


And, oh boy, the memes were exactly right - 4090 is a chonky boi! Photos below show Gigabyte 4090 and Zotac 3090:





Luckily, I went big with PC case and PSU 12 years ago so no parts were affected by this upgrade.

Benchmarking results show big brother performs bad ass against RTX 3090:

Not much difference except for the 133% increase in Open CL GFLOPS (Billion floating-point operations per second).
