Tokina 11-16 lens and Hoya R72 IR Filter

I did some testing yesterday and result shows no hotspot issues with this lens-filter combination. A sample shot:

I would suggest though that to minimize potential hotspots, try to stop down the exposure.

Settings:
Exposure Time = 2 secs
F Number = F11
ISO Speed Ratings = 200
Focal Length = 11mm

Hi:
How do you like your Tokina 11-16? Would you have considered the Nikon 10-24 or 12-14 instead? I love how you use the Hoya IR filter. Cheers to you as a new papa!

i'm liking Tokina 11-16 a lot! no regrets at all. No, i will not consider the Nikkor equivalents as it's very expensive.

hello sir! just want to know if what body are you using in this IR shot? since I have D7000 and a Tokina 11-16mm and some says that my body is not that very sensitive to IR so I need longer exposure like at least 30 secs? So I'm curious what SLR body you're using to get a 2 sec nice exposure? Thanks in advance! :)
