ROG Rapture GT-BE98

Our 8-year old Asus RT-AC88U is still doing OK but maybe a bit behind on current technologies so we replaced it with Asus ROG Rapture GT-BE98 . Ride home :-) A chunky big boi! For better ventilation, I only use a couple of brackets and then a fan on top Cable ties :-)

AC Infinity Aircom S6 Cooling Fan System

Image
For the past few months, our Denon AVC-X3700H has been randomly restarting. It could be once a week or twice an hour. It shares a powerboard with other devices (eg TV, PS5, XSX etc) but only this Denon unit is problematic. This unit has been purchased about 30 months ago so no longer under manufacturer's 2-year warranty. Using a random Google query, a possible solution could be adding a cooling fan. So I purchased an AC Infinity Aircom S6 cooling fan system. This system's height is only 1.5 inches so perfect for our 2.5 inches top clearance. It blows out hot air at the rear. Note that Denon recommends a 6-inch top clearance  for proper ventilation. Anyway, setup was quick and I set it at Smart Mode. Hopefully, no more random restarts from now on. Aircom S6 and its wall power adapter (plug is not AU-compatible) Front & Bottom View Rear & Bottom View Smart Mode detected a temperature (above A/V receiver) requiring 50% fan speed Aircom S6 intake fans right on top of A/V
